Pandia is a beautiful Dark Rose Grey daughter of the legendary Aussie .38 Special’s Bomber line, bringing highly recognized grey genetics into our herd. As a Bomber offspring, she carries strong color influence and the potential to consistently pass those traits forward, making her a valuable cornerstone for grey-focused breeding programs. She has already proven her production value with two cria, including Wildfire, a striking classic grey. With her modern grey background and solid pedigree, Pandia offers the versatility to produce both classic and modern greys, as well as darker colors. Pandia is a steady, reliable dam with excellent maternal instincts. She has proven her ability to carry and raise healthy cria, providing confidence for breeders who prioritize both genetics and dependable production. Her presence in a program offers the opportunity to build on Bomber’s proven legacy while developing the next generation of grey and color offspring. Pandia is currently bred to Snowmass Smoke N Mist, a medium rose grey male with outstanding EPDs for fleece weight and character. This pairing brings together powerful grey genetics with strong fleece traits, offering exciting potential for a high-quality cria due in 2026. Currently part of our core grey program at High Desert Farmstead, Pandia continues to represent what we value in a breeding female: proven production, genetic depth, and the ability to anchor a color-focused breeding plan.

Meet the newest addition to the Rare Gem herd-- Snowmass Sizlin Legacy XX! This boy is an exciting find out of the Snowmass herd. While Snowmass did not breed appaloosas, they kept detailed breeding program notes which included specific lines that threw spots and the frequency of those spotted results. Sizlin descends from an import within the Snowmass herd that threw the highest number of spotted offspring-- to a rate of 6.5X that of the others in their herd. Do we have a new gene carrier to add to the list of the appaloosa breeders?!?! Time will tell. Sizlin will be thoroughly "tested" and bred across the full range of colors of non-appaloosa carriers. In addition to having a beautiful phenotype, Sizlin has a buttery handle that opens up to well-defined spots of white, fawn, dark brown... and even grey! His fleece is extremely fine, dense and uniform. His first shearing at <10 months old yielded 8 lbs. of fleece! Needless to say, we are so blessed that Lynn Edens of Little Creek Farm has agreed to share this amazing young male. Sizlin's show debut was October 20-21, 2021 at the double show NEAOBA Alpaca Fall Spectacular and Empire Alpaca Extravaganza in Syracuse, New York. He color checked and was confirmed by the ring judges as "definitely" appaloosa. Both judges had very positive comments as to his fiber quality, eye-catching conformation and calm, pleasant demeanor. After New York, Sizlin was shown across the United States in a variety of shows. He has performed well including taking 3 Reserve Color Championship banners! Sizlin started his breeding career in the Summer of 2022 and he is a natural. He is being bred to a cross-section of females to determine what he will throw across colors. He has been color genotyped by Neogen / Canada and is a EeAA. Sizlin's first offspring was born June 2023 and is white out of a white dam-- gorgeous fleece and phenotype. January 2025 two more Sizlin cria have arrived-- both showing advanced fleece structure from the get-go. Sizlin's on Fya is a lovely appaloosa female and Haute-n-Knotty is a smoky light brown out of brown. More information can be found on both below. Description

Wildfire is a striking Classic/Tuxedo Grey female with proven grey genetics on both sides of her pedigree. She is the daughter of Thor Farms Pandia by Bomber (Dark Rose Grey, Bomber line) and sired by Thor Farms Morpheus the Grey, a 5× Judges Choice male and son of Mile High Deacon Grey. As Pandia’s first cria, Wildfire represents the continuation of the Bomber line while also carrying classic grey influence through her sire. She stands on a correct frame with bold tuxedo markings, making her an eye-catching female with the pedigree to reliably pass forward grey and dark color genetics. Wildfire is currently bred to Snowmass Sizlin Legacy XX (a 3× banner-winning light brown male) and is due July 9, 2026. This pairing brings together Bomber genetics, Morpheus’s classic grey strength, and Legacy’s proven fleece quality, offering exceptional potential for her first cria. At High Desert Farmstead, Wildfire is being developed as a cornerstone of our grey program, with expectations that she will consistently contribute to future generations of grey and dark-colored alpacas.
