NorthStar continues to show us that our breeding program is going in the right direction - the direction of the NorthStar!! 2024 Futurity Reserves Suri Herdsire of the year in BOTH dark and light offspring! And, in 2023, NorthStar was awarded the 2023 Futurity Light Herdsire of the Year! He has also earned our farm the honor of being awarded Suri Herdsire of the Year Medium Farm Division in 2024. After 25 years of breeding suris we are blessed to have produced this male on our farm. And, the hand to his fleece is what we're all breeding for.....slick, no drag, and very cool to the touch and oh so soft. He also has a presence that commands attention! And, lastly, he is the easiest, most mellow herdsire we've ever had on our farm. Personality plus with this boy NorthStar is proudly co-owned with Karen Ball and Russell Ratti of Heart & Soul Alpacas & Spinnery. They purchased half interest in this male before he even entered the showring as a juvenile! Thanks for your confidence in our breeding program! His show record and those of his offspring prove we were all right about our assessment of him, even as a juvenile. And, his offspring are at the top of the bidding in alpaca auctions!

She's the epitome of what we look for in a breeding suri - strong breeding soundness with a balanced frame, excellent capacity, strong bone and early maturity. Wowza's female cria by multi-champion Macgyverson's Peruvian Enrique made a grand entrance on the 4th of July, 2017. 361 days of gestation, Breath of Snow & Ice totally worth the wait. Wowza"s 2018 Black Ice female cria, Wonderschon, will blow you away with her luster and density. Wowza has proven herself as a foundation female. Her natural mothering instincts and quality/health of her offspring are more than we could hope for in a quality herd addition. This girl is certainly going to be an impact female. On 5/13/23 Wowza delivered one of our first NorthStar cria.....and he didn't disappoint! Jackpot by NorthStar wowed the judges as a juvenile in the showring! He's a gorgeous medium brown, same color as mom, and with a birth weight of nearly 21 lbs., he's got a sturdy frame, very upright and full of himself! Fleece has intense luster, density, and a very silky handle. One-half interest in him was purchased by Pines Edge Farm - thank you, Linda Kondris! On 5/31/25 Wowza delivered a gorgeous medium brown female, Nefertiti (aka Titi), sired by NorthStar. This little girl has IT going on. She's also a full sister to our show stopping male in 2024, Jackpot. Wowza's purchase does NOT include Titi. Please inquire about a mom/daughter package. We have bred Wowza back to NorthStar for another stellar pairing - ultrasound confirmed for a 5/26 cria!
