Magnus has done so much for us! He has been a cornerstone in our breeding program, improving every female he was bred to and producing Champions like no other males to date did for us. 6x Champion and 2x Best in Show – both in fleece and halter – Magnus is quite the package. In fleece show, he scored 89/100. Not to shabby in my opinion! He is a solid and stunning macho. His fleece is incredibly dense, shiny and well defined. His sire is Xanadu P Resolute, a male that made a tremendous impact in the Eastern Canadian industry. His dam is a Cimmaron Gold Legend daughter that produced 4x Supreme Champion Averegan’s Merida. Magnus shares almost the exact genetics as 7x Black Champion Averegan’s Aftershock, another Resolute x Cimmaron Gold Legend cross. The best way to judge the potential of a herdsire is by his progeny, and frankly Magnus did deliver. His progeny has great well-built conformations with solid bones and dispositions. Fleece-wise, they are all an improved version of their dams’ fleece. Producing crias from white to black and grey that are having fleeces as fine as 14.2 microns (Anrhumé – WH) with outstanding staple length and fleece weight, add to that crimp from skin to tip and great shine. His very first cria, Nyla of Peterboro, won the Combined Brown Colour Champion title in Fall 2019. Since then, Magnus has produced Champions in every colour, from white to black and grey. In fleece shows, his progeny reached up to 86.5/100 and culminated titles of "Judge's Choice", “Best Crimp” and “Best Brightness”! His black daughter, Miss Andean Shadow du DNA, is a 4x Champion that scored up to 79/100 – a score rarely given to blacks in Canada. Auréo is one of our best producers. When breed to Magnus, these two together have the ability to produce some great colour uniformity. Auréo has a very true to type conformation. Her fleece has great uniformity in microns and high frequency crimp. She clearly is a Chananza daughter with that signature head style and crimp. Her first cria, Apéro Rosé (sold), is one of the best male ever produced at the DNA. The first thing you'll notice when you put your hands on his blanket is how incredibly dense his fleece is, then you'll feel how silky soft it is. He is the finest cria from 2019 with an AFD of 16.3 microns. The crimp and shine on this boy's fleece are amazing and let's not forget how great is his conformation! A Wanted Man’s Zephyr is our #1 pick for improving density & fleece weight on our coloured females. Zephyr is the best male sired by A Wanted Man in North America before his departure to Europe. With his genetics somewhat limited, he is unrelated to most bloodlines in Canada.
