SuriHerdsire (Male)Medium Silver Grey
AOA# 1029352DOB: 5/15/200519 yrs
Sterling Silver is the only grey suri male in the country to win 10 blue ribbons and take home five championships. Sterling carries two generations of grey and two generations of black, giving him powerful color ability. He is a son of Peruvian Graycliff Jax, one of the finest males ever produced by Alpaca Jack's program. Sterling's dam, Rhapsody In Black, is a gorgeous black champion female with 19.3 micron fleece. This combination produced Sterling Silver's exceptional traits. Judges continually remarked on his flawless conformation, his exceptional luster and fineness, and especially the organization of his lock structure, a quality that is rarely found on a grey. Sterling's first crias have arrived, and like their sire, Sterling Silver's crias possess remarkable fineness and luster for being out of a grey. All Sterling crias carry his exceptional conformation as well. Sterling Silver crias are beginning to earn their ribbons in the showring too. His first cria, a brown female, earned a second place ribbon at her first show, placing in a class largely comprised of MacGyver offspring. A feat few greys can accomplish. We have 1/2 interest available in this herdsire to the right farm. If you are looking for a high quality, highly visible herdsire to produce grey and black for your program, take a look at this impressive male. Contact us for more information.

Dam:

Champion Miquel Daughter

Cassia

SuriBred (Female)Dark Fawn
AOA# 845626DOB: 4/23/200124 yrs
Cassia is a medium fawn color champion out of Pperuvian Miquel and Dr. Dick Walker's SuperSuri's breeding program. Her micron test report of 10/04 (1.5 years old) was 18.6 microns, 3.8 SD, 20.4% CV and with a comfort factor of 99%. At 3 years her micron tested 18.0, so we can only guess how good that first fleece actually was. At over 4 years old she still produces a gorgeous 19 micron blanket. She has excellent conformation, premier suri luster, solid substance, and champion presence and stature. Cassia's first cria is a 2-time Champion and blue ribbon winner at Nationals. Her second cria is our gorgeous male, Captain's Orders. He took a second at his first show at 7 months old, but had to be pulled later on from our show string due to stress. At shearing, his micron test report of 14.4 is jaw-dropping. Then she delivered two more award-winners: Captain's Savvy, a beautiful brown female out of Captain Morgan, and Carmen Electra, a beautiful maroon female with black points out of our WLK Sterling Silver. Cassia delivered next another female out of our 11 Time Champion Armed and Dangerous. Take a look at Melony Felony! She was undefeated in her class and as a juvi took Reserve National Champion. Wow, she's a knockout! Then we decided to pair up Cassia for her finest, most lustrous cria yet with a breeding to our Champion Belmonte son Bad Bad Leroy Brown. This is a pairing between our female with the finest fleece and highest luster in our herd, with a male that had the finest fleece and highest luster of any suri born on our farm. Another girl! Check out Ice Ice Baby. Cassia is reunited with Armed & Dangerous for a repeat in 2011 of her Melony Felony.

Description

Carmen Electra is a gorgeous, ultra fine-fleeced, high luster girl. At birth she appeared to be a solid deep shade of maroon, now appears a mahogany rose shade and to be coming in a solid rose grey, with dark points on her ears, nose and legs. She is the first cria to hit the ground out of our 5-Time Champion grey sire, WLK Sterling Silver. Sterling is out of a grey herdsire (greyXgrey) and a black champion dam, so grey genetics run strong here. Carmen's Color Champion dam, Cassia has 18-micron fleece and has consistently produced show quality offspring for us. At a very young age, this girl out of two champion parents is showing some very promising traits and should be a stunner in the spring shows. With a champion grey sire, her black points and her gorgeous color going for her, this girl is going to make some colorful crias. If you missed out on Cassia's last cria, Captain's Savvy, don't miss your chance on this year's model Carmen. The breeding options with this girl are outstanding. You may wish to choose our 5-Time Black Champion Cantano's Blazing Son with maroon genetics or - our choice - our true black junior herdsire Apollo Creed, with grey lines on both sides of his dam's pedigree from Silver King and Parinacota Oscar. Apollo is produced out of 16 championships between his sire and dam! Thank you and congratulations to Gary, Allison and Kali Wilson on the purchase of Carmen Electra!
