A beautiful female and an excellent foundation dam that produces show winning crias. She has a very fine fleece with elite character, density and brightness. April is the result of multiple generations of quality breedings originating from Accoyo and Allianza programs. April is an Accoyo Felix daughter and Hemingway Granddaughter.
She is very calm and easy to handle and passes this trait on to her crias. Her current cria has always placed at the top of her class in level 5 shows.
Her offspring, including females, have consistently produced 8 to 10 lbs of fleece. They are extremely dense.

Description
Alexis is a sweetheart. She has always been handled like a princess and the result is that she is gentle, curious and very trusting. This is a female that will provide a solid foundation of genetics from the best of the best imports North America obtained from the Accoyo Ranch, Machaccoyoc (Fidelia) and Allianza Co-ops. She has a strong color and white background and would be an asset to a color breeding program needing to improve their fineness and crimp.
Sired by the late Accoyo Cahudie, an original import who sired many spectacular, show winning offspring of all colors. Alexis exhibits an extremely fine, very bright, crimpy fleece that has a slick, slippery handle.
Alexis sheared 4 lbs of fleece as a juvenile, when she weighed only 86 lbs. That is almost 5% of her body weight of ultra-fine baby alpaca!
Alexis is 3/4 Accoyo and full Peruvian. She is bred to our 3/4 Accoyo, PCA bred, Apocalypse, for a Sept. 09 cria.
