DDF MAGNUM is a medium fawn descendant from two of the finest suri alpacas ever imported into the United States. Magnum’s sire, Accoyo Viceroy D252, is from the great Pperuvian Uribe (Durazno) the first full accoyo fawn male imported into the U.S and his dam, DDF Magnolia, is from the great Pperuvian Bruxo one of the last original imports from the Accoyo Suri breeding program in South America. These combined genetics have made an enormous contribution to the American Suri Alpaca herd and it continues with DDF Magnum a ¾ Accoyo fawn male. Rumor has it, many experienced breeder are now going back to older genetics and reintroducing them into their breeding program. Here’s your chance to do the same. Magnum is throwing really nice offspring adding density and luster.

Belle has been a great asset to the success of NRMA. She is a great mother, has a very nice compact frame and produces great conformation, and fine consistent fleece at age 9! She does lack a little denisiy yet when bred to either Magnum or Hugo the density is corrected. The "Belle Line" has strong genetics for dark fawn and white head markings. Belle is being offered with her 2012 cria at side. Histograms stats: AFD: 24.8, SD: 5, CV: 20.8% (Yowza!), <30mic: 10.1%, MC: 14.4 - Did we mention she is 9 years old! Now check out the SHIP stats. Suri Network SHIP statistics Belle - 4.4.40625 avg. of the 15 phenotypic traits Magnum - 4.8125 avg. of the 15 phenotypic traits NRMA participated in the Suri Networks "Suri Herd Improvement Program (SHIP)". The primary goal of the SHIP program is to provide a variety of tools for herd improvement and management of Suri Phenotype and Fiber qualities for Suri Network members. The classification consisted of the following: A. The evaluation of 15 phenotypic traits based on the Suri Breed Standard and research data. B. A hands-on herd review by a certified Suri classifier using a point system for evaluating individual alpacas. The point system is a scale of 1 (low) to 5 (High) of each of the phenotypic traits. C. The collection of trait data for the Suri database and EPD programs. D. Owners receive a herd report that identifies strengths and weaknesses of individual animals for specific traits that can be used in selection, breeding and marketing of their Suris. This program included ALL suri alpacas on our ranch whether registered or not. We do have all of our alpacas registered.
