Wintercreek's Jamison passed in 2024. We miss him a lot. He was a gentle herdsire, always patient and always gentle. Jamison had his last cria in August 2024. This offspring, JamieMac Jamison, has all of Jamison's fiber traits. Very high luster, excellent and consistent crimp. Extreme density and wonderful fineness. JamiMac is a stunner and will make a great herdsire himself. Jamison is an amazing medium fawn breeding male. He has very strong bloodlines: Hemingway, Dracula, Pluro and Peruvian Mr. President. Sound genetics for generations. He is phenotypically correct. His conformation is strong and straight and his head is very typey. Full face and top-knot, with crimp! His fiber is very dense with an extremely high-frequency crimp that is fine enough to create wonderful bundles. The luster is very bright and his uniformity is consistent from deep shoulder to hip. He passes his high luster, density and crimp style on to his offspring every time. Jamison was VERY EASY to handle. He had a very gentle personality. We did a lot of mobile breeding, and going to new farms has never been a problem. He jumped in the trailer every time and we very rarely had to return to the same farm twice. Wintercreek's Jamison passed in 2024. He is very much missed. His herd mates looked for him for weeks, expecting him to come home like he always did. He has thrown almost every color, but he consistently threw Rose Grey when bred to grey females! His cria always bring home a ribbon! I have kept Jamison on my list because he had his last cria in 2024. A stunning LB male out of a MRG female. We named him "JamieMac Jamison" in honor of his sire. JamieMac has extreme density and consistency from shoulder to hip. Nice tight crimp with lovely little bundles. And extremely high luster which he inherited from his Sire. Extreme density and her uniformity is from should to hip, neck, top knot and down to her toes! In 2014 she was awarded blue ribbons, a Color Championship and 2 Reserve Championships! Lillyanna delivered a beautiful dark rose grey (or possibly dark silver grey) female! I missed the whole birth! Lillyanna took on the first cover! She delivered on her own with no problems. She is a great mother and the little girl is perfect! My plan is to breed her to Herdsire "Bea 2 Bomber". He is an 8-time color champion out of .38 Special. this should be very exciting. Lillyanna would be a spectacular addition to any silver breeding program. I am confident her offspring will be in the winner's circle!

Picasso by Kolbe is new to Wintercreek's Herdsire Row this year. He will be beginning his breeding career in the Spring of 2025. He has a lot of Grey and Rose Grey females just waiting in line!! Picasso's lineage is very deep. On the top side he is out of Crescent Moon's Kolbe (LRG), a multiple-multiple championship winner. From there to CM's Wilkinson (MSG), Accoyo America Jason, CM's Rayo Del Sol (MRG), Danko (MRG) and on.... On his bottom (Dam's side) CM's Accoyo Realaza (LF), 4Peruvian Legacy (WH), Principio and Legacy's El Duro (F). Lots of color!! Picasso's fleece was just shorn when he moved to Wintercreek and his fleece did not come with him. What I see, at present, is bundles, tight crimp from skin to end. He has spots, but that excites me because of range of colors it can include. His handle is super soft and I can warm my hands in it...when he lets me. Picasso is also in the Top 5% of 2024 EPDs. I am looking forward to the breeding season and next spring's crop!
