Marseille's line is known for lasting fineness. Her sire, El Vasco has a beautiful fleece that is fine and full of tight crimp. A skin biopsy by Dr. Evans ranked Vasco in the top 1% in density (70 follicles SQMM. SP ratio: 13 to 1). Marseille's paternal grandsire is Patagonia's Neruda, who sold for over $200,000 at the 2007 Futurity Auction.
