Cassie is a gem. Her fleece is fine with a beautiful crimp. She’s got the staple length, makes an incredibly soft yarn and shears a dense blanket. We never got epds done for her, but her dam’s epds were: AFD 3.08% SDAFD 21.7% SF 5.73% >30 5.77% MC 0.48% %m 8.57% MSL 78.7% FW 4.69% Cassie’s maternal grandsire is none other than Eastwind’s Snowstorm who was in top 1% for AFD, SF & MC. This girl certainly carries champion genetics as well as some color. She has a few brown spots in her blanket and on her head. I’d love to pair her with an appy one day. She produced a beautiful male cria for us in 2021. She births easy and is a fantastic mother. We haven’t gotten to use her to her full potential yet, but are excited about her future breedings we have lined up. Cassie is bred to FJR Uriah for a spring 2024 cria. Uriah is a beautiful black male that holds a gorgeous fleece and conformation. He is in the top 16% for AFD, 19% for SDAFD, 16% SF, 3% >30, 14% MSL, and 22% FW.
