We purchased Mary Katherine in the Destination Auction knowing that her previous owners Crescent Moon Ranch consign some of their best to this auction. Mary Katherine is a beautiful Snowmass Matrix Belvedere daughter. She is robust with excellent bone and density. Her fleece is lovely with very high frquency crimp and excellent brightness. Her previous owner and breeder rated her fleece as an "A" at shearing time. Mary Katherine does have enough spots to make her an appaloosa by AOA show rules. That being said she can be bred for solid and possibly appy cria. This makes her very valuable to us! Mary Katherine's fleece was entered in the AOA National Fleece Show where she scored an elite fleece!! Her maiden breeding is to Manifest Destiny! Very excited for what this can produce! Cannot wait to meet the cria she is carrying. Mary Katherine delivered a gorgeous little boy from her pairing with Manifest Destiny! He is dark brown. She is a wonderful first time mom and very attentive to her cria. Mary Katherine is confirmed pregnant by Snow Diamond Beaujolais!!! We are super excited by this pairing! This should produce an elite fleece.

Description

Inigo Montoya of IPH AKA Monty, is a lovely male with an impressive fleece. He is quite fine with excellent crimp structure. He has a lovely head. Judges in his first show commented on the consistency of the crimp structure and uniformity. He has very good density. He stands firmly on a compact frame. His fleece is a beautiful deep brown with dark points. Quite lovely! He has incredible gentics behind him with his sire being LibertyAlpacs Manifest-Destiny. A male who needs no introduction as he has put some incredible offspring on the ground. Manifest Destiny brings the genetics of Snowmass Mr Sizlin Rose, Matrix Rose and Jumanji while his dam, Crescent Moon's Mary Katherine brings Snowmass Matrix and Snowmass Matrix Belvedere. His first shows were The Rail Splitter and IAFF shows where he respectfully earned a first and second place in halter and a 2nd in walking fleece. Monty has lovely fleece and has done well in shows. One Judge commented after a second place "Close comparison to 1st and 2nd. Went with 1st just due to size but beautiful fleece on this guy. Very fine. Crimp everywhere. Even has crimp in his butt hairs!" Wow! Monty earned a Championship in Walking Fleece at MOPACA!
