Our Marko is a real sleeper--he's absolutely gorgeous, and we think he has valuable depth of genotype AND phenotype. Marko has silky, well- demarcated pencilled black locks to the skin with gorgeous luster. He has a PERFECT head! The judges at the West Coast Alpaca show (Wade Gease and Winnie La Breque--THEY know a thing or 2 about suris,...) LOVED him and awarded him 2 halter championships, including the prestigious Champion Processing-Length Suri--for ALL shorn suris--male and female! He is calm and manageable, and has a sturdy, compact, correct and balanced frame. We LOVE this guy! Oooh...now here's a tantalizing "factoid". Marko's FULL Sister, Siriana, just had an appy/rose grey cria by Balboa of PVA, who is true black. Siriana is true black like her brother, but this means she is probably phenotypically black and GENOTYPICALLY appy/Modern Grey! We think Marko might carry the same genotype! And in his last 2 shows, Marko color-checked as "indeterminant dark""--basically black with a regular distribution of white fibers. Sure sounds a lot like a very dark grey.... With his potential for grey (from sire, Greystone), and black genetics going back to Sirius Black and Kobe, Greystone's Marko has it all. Cindy Harris of Alpacas at Windy Hill was transporting Marko to GWAS, and fell in love with him. We are now partners in Marko! We are honored that Cindy sees the same great potential in this male that we do. He spent the summer of 2016 at Alpacas at Windy Hill working on his resume. Marko has finished his sabbatical at Windy Hill, having produced 3 BLACK and 2 BROWN crias, with more to come next year! Marko can be found at Alpacas of Marin in the North San Francisco Bay area.

The Total Package in Coal Black!

Check this guy out! He'll be standing stud in Tennessee until late spring. He'll be back in Oregon after that, so don't miss your chance for a closer breeding! Icy Hot is the total package when it comes to a suri stud. A phenotypic dream - he's got that macho, boxy frame with a wideset chest and large bone. His head is extra attractive with a heavily fleeced face, perfect bite, and short nose. You'll notice that he carries that same heavy fleece coverage to his toes. His fleece does not disappoint either. His immense luster makes him striking in the pasture - it really is amazing seeing the light reflect off of his body. His non-fading, ultra true black fleece has a soft hand with great consistency across his blanket, elevating him in the show ring. What could make this even better? He's passing these characteristics on to his offspring! He's sired by, Midas' Black Ice of Lunasea Farm, a truly elite black male. With 12 banners including a Judge's Choice, National Supreme and Futurity Championships, this guy was bound to produce greatness. Unfortunately, he was lost at a young age and only produced 13 offspring. Out of those, 38.5% were banner winners and 84.6% received at least a first place. Icy Hot's champion dam, MMALP's Beau's Talia, is a stunning animal as well. She's a Black Beau of PVA daughter and has produced multiple champion offspring. In fact, all 4 of her offspring have placed first or better. We're excited to have this guy on the farm, even if it's just for a limited time. Contact us today for breeding details - we're happy to help arrange transport or pick your girl up at a show. Don't miss your chance for a breeding before he heads back home.

Description

We are excited to finally add Julianne to our herd. We first saw her at the 2019 AOA National show at colorcheck and fell in love with her unique coloring and super silky fleece. She has changed from a medium fawn to a medium brown over time. Her first cria, for her breeder, is a stunning brown and fawn harlequin by WI The Admiral. For her next pairing she will match up with stunning true black male, Icy Hot. It will be like Christmas each time she has a cria.
