News flash, Spotless has settled his first girls and they are happily spitting. We'll be ultrasounding in the near future. But we're confident they'll be confirmed pregnant. We can't wit to see what he produces! Silver Select (AKA Spotless) is new to us. We purchased him after his showing closely behind our boy Leo at the Gold Country Gathering 2021. We're anxious to see how they both grow and develop especially considering they have very different genetic backgrounds. In the 2022 CA Classic, Spotless was described by the judges as similar to Leo, though a bit less dense. Given his lineage, we expect that will improve. In Walking Fleece, Judge David Barbosa praised his very uniform fleece with soft hand, nice bundling and character. We showed his fleece in two 2022 shows. In the AOA National Fleece Show Judge Amanda Vandenbosch praised his soft fleece in a very competitive class. In the CALPACA Autumn Fleece Extravaganza, Judge Beverley Brehm commented on his beautiful crimp and very fine secondaries throughout. In the 2022 Gold Country Gathering, Spotless was awarded 1st place and Reserve Champion in Halter, with Judge Stephanie Glyptis commenting on his better fineness, uniformity and density as well as a nice conformation. In walking fleece, Judge Dianna Timmerman commented on the nice brightness and hand with good length when awarding him 2nd place.

Like all of Kit Carson's cria, this girl hit the ground raring to go! Check out the pix from her birthday. She has great substance of bone. And underneath the tui fleece she's got a nice crop of bright medium/dark silver gray popcorn curls with early bundling. We can't wait to see how she grows up! Judge Dianna Timmerman gave them almost identical fleece scorecards, noting Chara's fineness, uniformity and consistency across the blanket.
