Shilo of Linden Hills

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)White
AOA# 35444848DOB: 6/14/20178 yrs
Shilo of Linden Hills is the offspring of SpringToo Skyfall and Bella Marie of Linden Hills, a pairing that unites some of the most respected genetics in the alpaca industry. Skyfall is a proven champion with over a dozen cria on the ground, known for improving the characteristics of the dam, producing striking color, and passing on his typey head, strong frame, and highly evolved fleece structure. Among his many award-winning offspring is Xanadu Anthem, who earned the White Halter Color Championship and Judges Choice at the 2018 Fall Festival. Skyfall himself has received multiple Color Championships, Judges Choice awards, Spirit of the Industry awards, and specialty fleece honors. Shilo has inherited these qualities with his exceptionally dense, uniform, and bright fleece, carried on a true-to-type frame with strong bone and full coverage. His calm temperament only adds to his appeal as a herdsire. Talen Ranch is proud to stand Shilo of Linden Hills and welcomes inquiries from breeders seeking proven genetics and outstanding fleece quality.

Makes Us Curious!

Sweet Pines Soleil

HuacayaOpen (Female)Dark Fawn
AOA# 36121908DOB: 7/10/20214 yrs
This gorgeous young female came to Talen Ranch in April 2024 and we are pleased to have her as a part of our program. Soleil has an incredibly abundant and beautiful fine fleece. The fleece is notable for its shine, wonderful crimp, length, very nice bundling, and impressive density. Soleil's dam, Sweet Pines Infiniti, is dense, uniform, fine fleeces. Infiniti is a daughter of Alpaca Adventure's Milano, who won Get of Sire with Infiniti in the ring - the judges were impressed! Soleil's sire, Daytona's Nocino, was awarded the Black Color Champion title in the AOA National Fleece Show, and also received an Advanced Fleece Award. Nocino has all the qualities of a champion, including density, uniformity, beautiful character, and length. He also has a strong bone structure and a well-balanced conformation, making him a handsome stud. Nocino comes from a lineage of award-winning parents, including a multi-champion sire and grandsire, which makes his bloodlines excellent. Soleil is expected to be an excellent producer and has been bred to Flare's Incan Nightfire (FIN) for a cria due in 2024. Soleil's service sire, FlN, is also a top award-winner. His modern grey color makes such wonderful yarn. Given both FIN's and Soleil's genetic background, the color outcome of this pairing is anyone's guess but could definitely include grey or black! Stay tuned!
