Description

Ahhhh . . . Maple Butter. Her fleece is indeed buttery soft, extremely bright, crimpy, dense, and uniform, with well-defined staple structure. She has maintained her under-17 CV at 4 1/2 years. AOBA judge Ruth Elvestad gave Maple Butter 20 points out of 20 for fineness and handle when judging her fleece at age 2 1/2 years! And she has the calmest, sweetest personality to boot. Maple Butter had two championship awards before she turned one year old, including the fawn female championship at the 2003 AOBA halter show when she was only six months old and the youngest of all the entries in that color category. Two of Maple Butter's offspring to date remain in our foundation herd: **Calidad Baudelaire, sired by 4P Legacy, and now a working herdsire. He has exceptionally fine fleece, exceptional conformation, and stunning overall "look." Baudelaire has accumulated five blue ribbons in full-fleece halter shows. **Calidad Beatrice is sired by Lionheart's Connagher, a Felix and Hemingway grandson with dense, bright, high-frequency, low-micron fleece (19.3/3.9/20.2/0.9, at age 5 years). Beatrice is now a member of our foundation herd.
