Negrita has been a fantastic producer of black and grey cria and is herself the daughter of the well known silver grey import Peruvian Macusani. She has been an exceptional mom with lots of milk for her crias, but since she had trouble maintaining her weight while nursing her 2010 cria, which had to be weaned early to save her, we have now retired her from breeding. She is being sold as a companion female or pet alpaca. Negrita's 2010 cria was a very nice black little boy out of our own Woodland Meadows Greyson. "Eli" has been sold as a fiber animal--not because of his quality, but because we are running out of room for additional males! Since our pastures are full and we need to make room for 2012 births, we have reduced Negrita's price hoping for a quick sale. Description

Reja arrived at Fishback Creek Farm in summer 2009, along with her mom. She is destined to become a big contributor in our black and grey breeding program, or maybe in yours! Reja is registered as a bay black, but after her shearing in Spring 2010 it is obvious that she is a true black. Reja is growing into a good sized girl, and has nice square conformation and balance. Her fleece is showing good character with average density. She has a sweet and curious personality as well! Reja has a very nice pedigree that includes blended ancestries. Her grandsires are the well known silver import Peruvian Macusani and the renowned black import Bolivian Black Thunder. Reja is a good sized girl, and should be ready to breed in fall 2010.
