SUPERBLY DENSE, UNIFORM AND FINE--GORGEOUS PHENOTYPE, PROVEN CHAMPION STUD. ******* MOVING SALE SPECIAL PRICE****** Moneto descends from the crème de la crème of the suri world. He was sired by the legendary, now deceased, ACCOYO BARON LAFITE. This gorgeous sire, with an untimely death at 7 years old, racked up the Get -of-Sire wins even after death. During his career Lafite never received less than a Championship in his halter classes. His male cria, who share his phenomenal looks and fiber traits, are highly sought after yet very few are available. Moneto lives up to his legacy with his striking head, perfect frame and lovely fleece. Adding even more superior quality to Moneto’s genetics is his dam, Krystal’s Pocahontas. A champion herself, she brings a lot to the mix with her stunning good looks, extreme fineness, high luster and tightly twisted locks, even after multiple shearings. Her sire, Accoyo Caezar (deceased this year), a Uribe son, is considered one of the top U.S. suri herdsires known to produce elite cria. Their greasy luster, tight locking and bearded chins is his hallmark trait. This collection of ancestors was surely the perfect recipe for creating a knock-out stud such as Moneto! One of Moneto’s distinguishing features is his soft rolling skin (SRS), a trait renowned fiber expert Ian Watt states is the ultimate goal in breeding. As you run your hands down Moneto’s sides you feel rolls of extra skin, which basically means, more skin, more fleece. And Moneto passes this rare and desired trait to his offspring. Each of his cria has the same extra rolling skin, regardless of the dam. But that’s not all they had to give them the stamp of the elite. Each cria has that regal, upright stance, gorgeous bold heads with well-locked top knots and bearded chins, and tightly locked, fine fleeces. Moneto has been extremely consistent in the high quality of his progeny. It is hard to tell one from the other, regardless of the dam. They are all simply stunning. In addition to all of these great fiber and conformation traits, you can add in one of the more elusive ones...the ability to retain fineness and lock character after multiple shearing. Check out this boy's regrowth and relocking after his 5th shearing! He truly is better than he was a yearling! We are exceedingly confident in Moneto's breeding future, which will certainly include multiple Get of Sire wins.

We call Krystal our super model. She is always posing and never takes a bad picture. She has got great luster, superb fine penciling and terrific coverage, even now as a grand dam. She came to us as a bred female, but we loved her so much, we took her to two shows, where she took a very easy first. The last win was given to her by Julio Sumar at the 2003 MAPACA show, where he piled on the praise for her wonderful fineness, and luster-- a great compliment from him as he was widely known for being very particular about these two traits. Krystal's cria have all been top rate, each one being a top award winner during their show careers and many actually multiple champions. Krystal's stunning cria include our Pocahontas, the Reserve Champion at the 2004 North American Alpaca Show, at just 6 months old; Multiple champion Q’orianka a 4 x champion who garnered great praise from the industry’s top judges at some of the most prestigious shows; and multiple champion HaSu Wakanda, who is producing stunners herself. And I would wager that Krystal’s last cria, HaSu Zihna is potentially her best yet. This grand dam has not lost anything when it comes to quality production. Regardless of the sire, Krystal has produced top quality cria. This is clear evidence that she brings a lot to the table when it comes to reproducing the ideal suri traits we all strive to see in our breeding programs. At the price she is selling for, you are certain to get a great offspring, possibly even 2-3. Even at her age, she is healthy and easy to breed. You can't get pet alpacas at this price, and certainly not of this quality.

Description

Zihna is truly an exceptional young suri. But there is good reason for this she descends from the crème de la crème of the suri world. She is sired by our HaSu’s Moneto, the late son of the legendary, now deceased, Humming Hill herdsire Accoyo Baron Lafite. Lafite, with an untimely death at 7 years old, is racking up the Get -of-Sire wins even after his death. During his career he never received less than a Championship in his halter classes. His offspring, who share his same phenomenal looks and fiber traits, are highly sought after and very few are available. And as you can see, Zihna lives up to Lafite’s legacy with a striking head, perfect frame and lovely fleece. One of Zihna’s sire’s distinguishing features is his extra soft rolling skin, a trait that renowned fiber expert, Ian Watt, expounds to be the ultimate goal in breeding. If you run your hands down Moneto’s sides, you can feel the rolls of the extra skin, which basically means, more skin, more fleece. And we’re pleased that Zihna has this same trait. But that’s not all she has to give her the stamp of the elite. She has that regal, upright stance, gorgeous bold head with well-locked top knot and bearded chin, and tightly locked, fine fleece. As you can see here, she knows she is quite the ‘Thing”. Zihna is a solid path to a champion breeding program, whether you are new to the business or already have a herd. She is the quality suri that puts a suri farm on the map. It is with great frustration and disappointment that our life required us to make changes and made it impossible for us to show this girl. She is truly a champion quality girl who would have made us very proud. She is ready to be breed in the Summer of 2014 or to enter the show ring in previously shorn classes.
