JJA Sierra's Seismic

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)True Black
AOA# 31717595DOB: 6/13/201014 yrs
Seismic has been making TB babies. One took a few 2nd placements in halter behind girls that took first at the futurity and nationals. Another took a a first in the national fleece show. They had the same fleece style and appearance as you see in Seismics 2011 fleece shot. Check out his 2018 msg male JJA Seriously Silver and his 2019 TB male JJA Seismic's After Shock, 2018 JJA Seismic's Sheba. He has made black out of white! Never made lighter than a medium brown (from same white dam he made black) Seismic does not like to be away from home and it showed greatly as a juvey in the show ring. He should have placed higher but didn't cooperate. As a yearling with more confidence he consistently placed 2nd behind an undefeated 1/2 brother who is a multiple color champion, Jacob Black who does not have outside breedings. Seismic's fleece stats are incredible for a black(or other colors)-unbelievable CV which to many breeders is more important than the micron. Seismic's dam has produced amazing offspring including Josie a CC and Capri a 2xRCC along with other great wins. I thought if she can produce a black male with the same winning fleece attributes and overall greatness, then we will have found the guy to breed to all of Adonis' offspring, and we have!. Seismic is very square with heavy bone and the best head! Seismic has "IT" so come check him out! We'd only sell Seismic with another herdmate.

Dam: JJA Accoyo Serenity

Makes Black!

JJA Accoyo Serenity

HuacayaOpen (Female)White
AOA# 32669992DOB: 5/19/20168 yrs
A full accoyo who can do the sire's color like all her relatives before her.Our Impeccable son Halo who has done very well in the ring, has Accoyo Marksman for his maternal grandsire. I wanted to get another alpaca of the same genetics, so I took an Impeccable daughter and bred her with Marksman. I am very happy with the results! Everyone that handles her, which is quite a few considering her super friendly personality, exclaims about how fine and buttery she is. Super shine on consistent crimp with a density that is pretty impressive. She has nice bone and is very square and I believe she will be one of those compact, but chunky alpacas that produce the same amount of fleece as if they were much larger. Serenity's dam Porsche is a large full Accoyo from another larger alpaca Camellia. Serenity was tested for low Thyroid when she stopped growing at 6 mths. Unfortunately, her results were misread by vet so she didn't start treatment until months later. She did grow but not to what she would've if treated earlier. She had her first cria June 2022. Black female out of our TB Sierra's Seismic. No issues with the birth. Nitty is bred back to Seismic for a May 24, 2024 cria. On June 11, 2024, Serenity birthed a brown male who has black tipping. Incredible fleece! Micro bundles, shiny and dense! Text book birth. I love this girl so much. The sweetest temperament. Her fiber has been a favorite. Very few males to breed her too here. I bred her to Polson July 2024. He made an incredible grey female cria from a msg here. Serenity has better fleece than the other dam so this should be an incredible combination. The cria will have a genetic connection generations back with her full Accoyo Great Grand dam Camilla. I try to avoid breedings not 4 generations seperated but, I feel the positives will win out.

Service Sire: Epic Alpacas Primus

Best handle! Grey babies!

Epic Alpacas Primus

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Silver Grey
AOA# 35271468DOB: 11/13/20159 yrs
Update: Primus is a grey maker! He has made grey even with brown and bay black girls without the grey parents. He has also made gorgeous blacks. One just born from a bay black girl looks just like him. He was born on August 1st 2024. Color Champion at 41.5 mths!! Judges have really liked him but CC has been going to the much younger animals. The fact that he is still so soft with consistency and long staple AS A BREEDER along with perfect conformation was appreciated! See his stats. only 2.6 micron difference between min and max micron!!! Primus has a very buttery handle to his fleece due to the consistency of his fine fiber and density. His yarn is incredibly soft-like a white cria fleece! His sire BMF Taos Zepplin is known for putting out blacks. He was the 2013 AOBA Black Male Fleece Champion. His histogram stats are very impressive starting with a 15.7 AFD and a 2.8 S.D. on his first fleece and at 5 yrs old still had a 20.4 micron and a CV of 19.9. I fell in love with PHA Peruvian Taos (his sire) when he was here in Wisconsin. Judge stated at the recent MOPACA show that he was a very close second and was very impressed with his long, healthy fleece that hand an excellent handle, something not often seen in greys to that extent. He has been showing as a 40 mth old this year and has had very limited competition yet had super nice comments from the judges that included "I doubt that there is a more robust male out there", "very little difference in micron throughout fleece", "perfect phenotype", "extreme staple especially given his age". Primus' first offspring is a black male from a black female. Super fine, dense fleece! Primus is going back to Nationals in 2020. He'll be 4 yrs and 4 mths old (52 mths) but I honestly can't see that his fleece has changed in the last 2 yrs! We have bred him a couple times for 2020 cria. We should have entered him in the mature males. Thought his retained fineness and no guard hairs would impress the judge, they did but she didn't take into account his being 1 1/2 yrs older than the others. Walking fleece he took 3rd! He is such a sweet, easy to handle guy.

Description

Half Accoyo in Black! Sable is the name sake of one of our older girls, JJA Sweet Sable who left this earth just 2 weeks prior to this girls birth. Sable is sable in color and just as soft. Very nice high frequency crimp, super uniform and dense. This girl is very robust and square. Extreme density and long staple. Fine fleece but no stats. Just know after 20 + years of shows and processing fiber. No white contamination. I plan to breed Sable to either Primus or Jordy. Primus always makes awesome greys and blacks while Jordy has 3 offspring-a white, black, and grey all the dams colors! Jordy is a fawn out of TB Amelia and MSG Smoky Joe (a Tsunami cria from our champion Jana Rose). As you can see, I went with Primus for this girl as we had her paternal sister Sheba bred to Primus and they made Sheba's Shaboozey who is an astonishingly gorgeous grey guy. This will be one exciting cria to look forward too! No breeding included in this price just her bred as is. Must be moved 2 mths prior to do date at latest.
